While at GW Nursing, we planned a major website redesign. As the Acting Marketing & Communications Director, I spearheaded the effort, which involved school staff, vendors and the university’s tech team.

This project highlights that I can:

  • Ensure an organization’s brand is maintained and cohesive across channels, even as those channels are updated.
  • Leverage relationships with stakeholders and conduct research to identify how messaging can be improved.
  • Articulate a message through storytelling using concise language and appropriate visual assets.
  • Manage a project, and have the ability to manage team members working remotely.

Highlights of GW Nursing redesign:

  • Edited site from more than 300 pages to less than 100, making it cleaner and more easily navigable.
  • Emphasized visual storytelling through photographs.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholder focus groups.
  • Created style guide to capitalize on SEO and ensure consistent style.
